Un rhum dégusté au Rhum Fest 2024. Un nez de banane cuite avec du cuir, des fruits et de l’acétone. La bouche est gourmande avec des pâtisseries et de la noix de coco et des fruits compotés. La finale est moyennement longue sur la gourmandise. Un bel exemple de blend réussi.

Tasted at Rhum Fest Paris 2024 A nice blend, the worthy park of the blend is really pleasant and well integrated with the Belize..the Abv of the belizean beast is tamed down, and maybe the worst part is that WP hides almost all the Belize profile, you notice it only in terms of body and texture.

#6562 28.03.2026 - Part 2 The first online tasting of 2026 of the group we had in Shanghai. Funny that we are now living in different parts of the world again. Singapore, Sweden, UK, Denmark and Thailand 😊 Thanks for the samples Mike. Looking at the price tag you get a pretty good rum. The nose is fruity with light wood, polish, nutts, coconut, citrus and light marzipan. The palate is round and well balanced with light roated wood, pineapple, coconut, caramel and herbs. The finish is medium long and woody with spice, light polish, light leather and banana.

A blend of two previous releases from Zéro Nine Spirits, this assemblage is marked by contrasting styles: the ripe fruitiness and phenols of Worthy Park, and the gourmand, spicy, and woody notes of Travellers. The nose clearly distinguishes the two, somewhat sharply but maintaining a certain roundness. The attack on the palate is rather intense, still marked by contrasts. However, while the flavors on the palate are pleasant, they don't necessarily blend well together: you really feel two different schools on the palate, which breaks the harmony and structure. The exotic fruitiness with pastry and medicinal notes doesn't mix with the spices, wood, coconut, and caramel, which is a bit unsettling. The alcohol is well integrated. The finish is long, sometimes on fruits and esters, sometimes on spices, caramel, almond, chocolate, and roasted notes. A rum that isn't bad in itself, but whose combination doesn't bring as much as one might hope.

Nice Belize rum with great fruity notes, which lose some freshness with longer time in the glass. Pleases by skillfully playing along its known strengths: coconut, nice chocolate-caramel sweetness, delicious orange nuances, oak wood and subtle spices. Balanced, easy to drink, successful.
