Barrel clearly noticeable, arrack unfortunately goes a little under. Perfectly solid for dark & stormy or Cuba libre. However, a few more years in the cask would probably have a positive effect here, making it the least impressive Nusa Cana for me. But again, you can't complain for €23.

Edgy, roasty, smoky, herbal. Pretty much exactly what you would expect as an aged extension to the white. Hints of cocoa, pineapple and something herbal. Similar on the palate - pretty much what you'd expect. Still surprisingly sweet and thick, and enormously pleasing. Not complex, not boring. Can very nicely replace the supermarket Cubans on the shelf. Fair price, great standard mixer!
