Tasted at the Rhum Fest Paris, partial notes. The must-have of this range I think! A quite complete layered tasting, fruity, rancio, caramel, toasted notes. What more to ask?? Nice discovery.

#7016 10.07.2026 Relaxing with a few rums after a slow day at work, where I had time for a chat with AI about my walking speed when Hiking. The outcome was very positive and the first attempt increased my speed bu 10%, so I will try to focus even more on the recommendations. Watching Gold Rush oon HBO recharging after a super speed hike home from work. Looking at the price tag you get a pretty good rum actually. Medium intense and fruity rum with, molasses, spice, nutts, roasted wood and a dry finish.

Unfortunately, this one didn't really grab me. On the nose and palate it's mostly vegetal and fresh, I can still detect some wine and citrus fruits on the palate. On the palate there's also a bit of mint and citrus fruits.

Tasting at Rhum Fest Paris 2025. 👃 Quite lively for 51°, woody aspect on a vegetal side, fresh and peppery above all. Aromas of sweet molasses and caramel, soft vanilla, fruits in the background, a bit of starfruit and light yellow fruits. 😋 Fairly light markers. Alcohol liveliness, spicy and toasted wood, green chili, vegetal freshness, soft caramel, almost honeyed. Yellow fruits still green, starfruit just ripe. ⛳ Medium length, vegetal freshness, wood, spices, peppery, caramel, vanilla, tobacco. 💡 Nice for the price and to discover Indonesia.

Reminds me a little of Clarendon and Port Mourant. Somewhat herbal, bitter, astringent.
