Hanse Spirit Hamburg Februar 2026. Hat wirklich schon recht viel an Honig zu bieten. Aber mag ich grad nicht. Selbst für einen Likör viel zu süß. War wohl das schlechteste, was ich heute verkosten durfte.

Der Honig springt einem förmlich ins Gesicht bzw. in die Nase. Leider nicht im Positiven. Es kommt eher als Fehlnote rüber. Im Mund darüberhinaus recht dünn. Eigentlich kommt auch nur diese nicht sehr gut integrierte Honignote rüber. Hinten raus auch ziemlich bitter vom Holz.

Despite the labeling of the sample, I did not expect this: The nose opens with strong beeswax and honey. Probably due to the addition of organic honey, the very light spiced rum is somewhat cloudy. Taste-wise it goes strongly towards mead with fruits. Medium-long sweet and somewhat dry finish. The honey note lingers very long in the mouth. Actually quite exciting because it's something different, but for me it's nothing.
