Sweet-tooth sippers who like a soft, chocolatey Venezuelan style will feel at home here. This 2008 vintage leans caramel, milk chocolate and tropical fruit, with a whisper of leather and a spicier finish than you'd expect. One taster called it "beautiful at start, keeps giving then finish smoothly." A couple wished for a bit more punch at 43%, but it stays gentle and easy.

#6447 07.03.2026 Enjoying some samples after Whiskymessen in Kolding. Listening to some Psychedelic Goa Trance by S.U.N. Project. A pretty OK release though the price tag is a bit high. Fruity with chocolate and light coffee notes. The wood is well balanced with the ABV and the palate is sweet and lightly smoky.

Wow, a really good rum, you can't say otherwise. Leather meets tropical fruit, that is all I have to say. Treat yourself to this rum if you have the chance :-) You can't go wrong with it.
