#6522 21.03.2026 Day two part two of todays evening tasting with a few friends. Today the music is a bit different because not all like my Trance and Psy Trance, so we have settled on some EDM and hits from the 80s Thank you Petter for the nice samples. A pretty OK bottling and the price can always be argued, but I think it is pretty good. The nose if fruity with nice spices, wood and honey. The palate is medium intense and fruity with light tannins, coffee, honey and a light medicinal note. The finish is long and naturally sweet with peach, light rubber and salt.

On the nose, the rum is quite talkative. Everything you would expect from a Jamaican. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it can't keep this up in the mouth. I can taste a slight bitterness in the aftertaste, which I don't find pleasant. This is also the point that prevents it from getting a better rating. Unfortunately, it's not for me neat. Not bad as a mixer, but it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice.

A super blend from the great Jamaicans, supported by aging in new oak casks. Surprising and delicious, the spices and wood of the cask are matched by the fruity, high-ester Jamaica juice. A little marvel
