The palate leans sweet and rounded, but at nearly 60% the alcohol runs hot and the finish is short. Many find it pleasant but a touch one-dimensional.

Und die Bewertungen gehen runter, auch wenn die Nase hier echt toll ist. Alkohol nicht zu erkennen, ansonsten Kokosnuss, Vanille und Karamell. Am Gaumen auch leichte Süße, Holz, Kaffee und kandierte Früchte sind auch erkennbar.

Could be blindly typed as Foursquare or Belize, moscatel cask is recognizable and brings some extra fruit but overall again unfortunately too spicy and too alcoholic... Too bad. I would have expected more.

#7128 05.08.2026 Relaxing with a few samples while watching a TV Series called Lake Erie Murders. Pretty good rum with a nice price tag at release. Again one of those I tried before as a cask sample. A fruity and fresh profile with spices, fruits, grass, herbs, caramel and roasted wood.

For me, this rum evokes associations with Foursquare and Belize, with all the positive and negative aspects... the profile is pleasantly "drinkable", but unfortunately nothing more... somehow it's too one-dimensional for me

Rather nice combination of fruity notes I attribute to the miscarry cask with caramel, vanilla and coconut from the rum. Overall the alcohol is not flawlessly integrated.

Definitely better than the Tahiti from SBS tasted at the same time. Fruity, woody, peppery. Alcohol too dominant. Finish quite short. OK, but I don't need a bottle of it.

Positive surprise! Rum from Thailand with Moscatel finish. The nose is really great and reminds me of some Foursquare, but in the mouth it could be a bit milder for my taste, as the alcohol is very present.

I would blindly guess the nose is Foursquare. Lots of coconut with a hint of bourbon, vanilla, dried fruit. The longer it ages, the better the nose. Taste-wise it's some FS again, just sweeter. Finish of dried dates, vanilla, coconut, cinnamon. Not bad, but nothing interesting about the rum.

Thailand is always full of surprises. This rum is very sweet and would make entry into the rum world easier or more accessible for many newcomers. A nice sipper for mild summer days. A nice change for the nerd, but nothing more.

Strong wood note on nose and mouth, yet fruity with caramel note. Short finish, which doesn't differ much from the taste. Due to the dominant alcohol, a matter of taste when neat, but a bomb in a Rum Old Fashioned - highly recommended!

Nose: initially slightly sharp, then opens up to a broad aroma of wood, tropical fruits, coconut and caramel. Reminds me a bit of the smell of a freshly fired sauna. Taste: incredibly soft and round. Flavors of coconut, wood, tropical fruits and roasted notes. Also some winey notes.

So far, I only have one Thai rum for comparison. The Oldman Spirits GmbH Thailand Flensburg Rum Company Thailand (Special Bottling for 12th German Rumfest) 60.3% has a similar flavor profile, but despite the higher alcohol content, I find that one more pleasant in terms of alcohol integration.

Nice aromas, coconut, apricots, caramel vanilla but quite sweet, a light spice and pleasant barrel notes. Price-performance ratio quite good, what I notice negatively is the alcoholic sharpness and the relatively short finish which slightly spoil the otherwise very good overall impression.
