Plantation Jamaica (LMDW) 2010
Made for people who want a fruit-forward Jamaican blend at full proof without the heaviest funk. Members find ripe tropical fruit — banana, papaya, mango and pineapple — with lime, warm oak and a caramel-vanilla edge; one calls it "Bananenbrot mit Zimt auf Holz." At 61.4% the alcohol is mostly tucked in, but several taste a short, slightly bitter finish and a vanilla note that not everyone loves.

How does Plantation Jamaica (LMDW) 2010 taste?
Aggregated from 24 community reviews.
Fruity full-proof Jamaican, short bitter finish Well-liked but not adored: bright tropical fruit and warm wood, alcohol mostly integrated. Several feel it lacks depth and roundness, with a short, faintly bitter finish holding it back.

Rum and chocolate tasting by Rum Club Switzerland. A fruity nose of overripe pineapple and mango, with a few esters in support. An explosion of fruit on the palate too, with varnish aromas adding a little depth. The finish is too short and the fruit disappears too quickly. A pleasant, easy-drinking rum that also brings a certain complexity.

Tastes tropically ripe! I like it very much. Beautiful tropical fruit with lots of wood.

Full proof Jamaica blend with cognac cask finish - works very well.
Review by TheRhumhoe
