Goûté en sample et à l aveugle. Je trouve l alcool beaucoup trop présent au nez, comme en bouche Dommage le profil me semblait intéressant avec du sucre demerara, alcool raisin , du boisé un peu humide, réglisse.

Alcohol is very dominant in the aroma. It is unpleasant and accompanied by overripe fruit. On the palate, a nice guyana, just sweet enough, woody with intense leather. It has a long finish where the parting alcohol reappears.

🥃 The Nectar - Guyana Demerara 2017 – 64.79% Released for Whisky Live 2023 in the New Vibrations series, this 6-year-old rum aged in bourbon barrels is a blend of pot still and column distillates from DDL. Nose: Petroleum, burnt wood, nuts, resin. Palate: Tar, olives, licorice. Powerful, salty, with a nice length. A true navy profile, wild and salty. Fans of strong sensations will be delighted.
