It's a rare pure pot-still Foursquare, and that's the whole story: honey, honeycomb, black tea and chamomile with light, well-integrated wood and glue-like notes. Fans of classic Foursquare tend to be let down — several call it un-Foursquare, even Rockley-style. One taster summed it up: "interesting rum, something unique. Just not my kind of taste."

CoR tasting, Rum Club Switzerland. A rather weak agricultural nose with dry herbs, beeswax, spiciness, pepper and dirty notes. The wood is very well integrated, but the spiciness/pepperiness bothers me a little. The palate is acqueous, diluted and the aromas struggle to express themselves. The wood and beeswax dominate the fresh tropical fruit, which, together with the vegetal, gives this wine quite a bit of freshness. The finish is short, although the wood lingers on the palate for a long time. A weak rum, especially on the first palate.

Store visit Rhum Attitude Brussels May 2025. Taken along as a sample. Probably the worst rum by far today. This Foursquare can't do much. In the nose and on the palate we have honey, some wood and also black tea. Not convincing.

Just like the Royal cane 2002, I would definitely not classify it blind as Foursquare but as WIRD Rockley style. Nice notes of honeycomb, incense and honey, as well as herbs like chamomile and black tea. Overall somewhat biting on the finish.

WLP 2025 This Foursquare is super special in that, as far as I know, it's currently the only pure pot still from Foursquare available on the market. It's completely different, full of technical and gluey notes. If you love classic Foursquare you'll be disappointed. But for others, damn interesting.

Definitely not the standard FSQ taste. It is more whisky style. .. Foursquare is a distillery from Barbados producing amazing rums for everyday sipping. It's a rum especially appreciated by rum lovers who are fed up with sugar and are looking for a smooth, sweet rum full of coconut, vanilla, chocolate, and caramel. Simply pleasant and not aggressive flavors.

My first experience with Colours of Rum and right away huge dissapointment here, this is in no way foursquare style and I wouldn't even guess Barbados. I don't know what they were thinking bottling this for the price they want.
