Most people drink this neat or in a Ti Punch that needs no added sugar — the cane juice is that ripe and honeyed on its own. Expect fresh sugarcane, lime and kumquat, white pepper and a green, floral, almost olive-and-salt edge. At 52.5% the alcohol reads well integrated. A single-plot Neisson blanc that's a touch more mineral and less sweet than the regular 52.5.

One of the best Unaged Agricole I have tasted so far. An incredible sweetness and floral fruitiness that I don't/hardly know. Very good as Ti Punch. I am very enthusiastic. Won't be the last bottle.

A very vegetal nose for this single-varietal white. Interesting mouthfeel of pepper and a hint of earthy bitterness. A strange sensation for a Neisson, to be enjoyed again with a less tired palate perhaps 🤔

8,2:On the nose, sugarcane is felt imminently, as we have an unaged agricole in front of us, is mineral and flowery, fresh, with mushrooms, citrus, herbaceous. On aeration, it feels waxy and nutty, peppery. 8,2:On the palate, the attack is sweet with fresh sugarcane juice, mineral and flowery, vegetal with pepper, a bit smoky, like melted sugar syrupy, with chocolate, nuts, confectionery, from citrus, lime is present, becomes dry quickly, waxy and minty later. 8:The finish is medium long with all unaged agricole attributes, with grassy and medicinal notes as an addition.. #4515 09.12.2023 Forgot to activate this tasting, so here it is. Nose Intense, fruity, citrus, light cherry, vegetal, floral, plum. Palate Elegant, oily, balanced, spicy, fruity, floral, plum, sugarcane, light citrus, medium dry. Finish Long and warm, oily, fruity, floral, light mint, sugarcane.

Wisky Live 2023, quick tasting session! Like a 52.5 with big bricks, very greedy. Update April 5, 2024: much better and more remarkable than at the show (normal I suppose). Very vegetal nose, a little citrus, fruit, iodine and of course the big cane. Mouth: same markers, a slight floral edge. Milky, sweet, but dry finish. Strong intensity. Note: no sugar needed for ti punch.

Impressively shows how much character an unaged rum can have. Fresh sugarcane, citrus fruits, olives and a salty note feel remarkably complex and full of character. Not a simple white rum, but a distillate with depth and elegance.

Another nice and flawless unaged rum from Neisson. Retasting in 2024 when finally available, i increase my rating, it is defintely one of the best unaged rum I've ever had. Floral and sweet, like almond and confetti both on the nose and palate

👃= soft, sweet, herbal, lemony with a bit of citrus and plum. 👄 = the cane expresses itself better on the palate, elegantly in a peppery warmth with a bit of licorice. The finish is short. This cane eau-de-vie is appreciated neat or mixed.

An excellent white agricole rum, fresh and fruity, a real bomb! The alcohol is perfectly integrated, this rum is extremely smooth. Drinkable neat or in ti-punch, with very little lemon. The value for money is excellent.

The metropolitan appellation of Dekolaj deserves the same rating. A perfect balance between the fruitiness of the cane, citrus with a floral and herbal touch. Ideal in a luxury ti punch or for pure tasting.

A beautiful white rum profile offering floral and agricultural greenness (grass) and delicate exotic fruitiness with citrus galore (lime, kumquat). Sugar cane adds sweetness, while a touch of spice gives the nose a little kick. Lively and expressive. The mouthfeel is very smooth, the honeyed, syrupy quality of the cane juice making the rum exquisite on the palate, with a lovely attack of stewed fruit, citrus and herbal, earthy and floral touches. The profile is very balanced, with well-integrated alcohol. Its flavors are so reminiscent of Ti Punch that it can clearly be drunk neat. The finish is not bad at all, with a honeyed, fruity, marmalade-like quality that adds a lot of deliciousness. Hints of herbs and flowers add freshness to this dry, powerful profile. A very good white by Neisson, (almost) as usual one might say.

11/05/2026: Advent calender: Le Monde des Rhums 2025. Neisson is one of the best Agricole distilleries in my opinion. Definitely one of my favorites. Both unaged and aged expressions are great. Price to quality is very good with this one.

What should a white rum be? In my humble opinion, it should be exuberant on sugarcane and have a silky texture! This Neisson expresses exactly that! To say, I drink it without anything! No lemon, no added sugar, no ice! It already has everything! 🌴 The trend is towards single plots at the moment, this cane comes from a plot called: Clos GODINOT (no joke? 🙃) located between 245m and 280m. Having tasted the Neisson 52.5% 'normal', the difference is subtle but I find this single plot has a slight minerality that makes it less sweet on the palate than its twin!

Rather classic agricole profile to my taste. Nevertheless, I would have liked a bit more fruit even if a nice pear hides there and a less marked lemon zest at the end of the palate. In my memory, the classic 52.5 also has a more marked sweetness.

A nice white for tasting. Nose: All the Neisson markers are there, it’s very peppery (white pepper), citrus on lime, flower honey, (slight dustiness?) plus fresh cane, herbal etc. You find about the same on the palate, silky texture, very good integration.
