Un alcool incroyablement bien intégré qui reflète une maîtrise du maître de chai au vu du degré. Des notes chocolatées et une très belle longueur! Vraiment un beau travail

A rum tasted at the WLP. A very aromatic nose, much more so than the Audacieux. Vanilla and caramel, light oak and tropical fruit, citrus. Surprisingly smooth on the palate, given the ABV. Aromas of chocolate and caramel, young wood. All in balance. A long, gently fading finish. A better rum than Audacieux for my taste. An amazing discovery and integration of alcohol!

Pecička od isauteru. Ve vůni silně aromatické ovoce, v chuti exploze na patře zoůsobená velmi vysokým abv, které byť je poměrně dobře integrováno je přesto velmi intenzivní. Závěr je nekonečně dlouhý a procházi celým tělem. Rád se k tomuto rumu ještě vrátím

Phew, the alcohol is very present, but not extremely unpleasant. A good rhum, although the alcohol content seems somewhat exaggerated.

Quand Isautier décide de larguer la bombe atomique, cela donne quelque chose de semblable à ce rhum. Le nez offre un beau concentré d’arômes sur les pâtisseries, la brioche et quelques touches sucrées, avant de se diriger vers les fruits tropicaux, les agrumes et de terminer sa course vers des épices aussi nobles que chatoyantes (muscade, cardamome). Une brise florale vient effleurer les narines pour offrir un bouquet aromatique complet et ravissant. En bouche, la gifle est des plus brutales : la puissance du jus est telle un raz-de-marée avec des fruits secs, de notes pâtissières, des saveurs herbacées, des agrumes et des épices (piment). L’ensemble explose en bouche avec une grande déflagration. Aussi bon et noble soit le brut de fût, on est à la limite du raisonnable sur l’alcool. La finale est très longue, anesthésiée par la chaleur de l’alcool, mais permet de voyager parmi les arômes fruités, les épices, le boisé, les touches de caramel et les notes végétales et florales. On l’aura compris ici, vaut mieux être préparé face à ce type de jus, qui quand bien-même est à consommer avec parcimonie. Bien que l’alcool est très bien élaboré, une meilleure intégration de l’alcool (ou légère réduction) aurait été la bienvenue.

Für knapp 80% Alkohol ist dieser hier vor allem an der Nase extrem gut integriert und sticht nicht, geschmacklich wiederum ist er schon sehr dominant aber weit entfernt von untrinkbar. Eine Verdünnung auf ca 60% tut ihm dennoch gut und offenbart Noten von Karamell, überreifer Papaya, Thymian und anderen Kräutern. Insgesamt finde ich ihn aber etwas eindimensional und auch der Abgang ist sehr kurz. Auch nichts wovon ich eine Flasche bräuchte.
