One taster called this a "belle découverte" the first time he tried Tahitian whites, and that curiosity fits. It's a pure cane-juice agricole that leans hard into earth, herbs and fresh sugarcane, with a mineral, briny edge a few people compared to Marie-Galante. Bottled at drinking strength, it's intense and very green — fruit barely gets a look in. Several loved it; a few found the finish short.

Finish Medium long, fresh, sugarcane, light vegetal, light oily, citrus, spice, medium spicy. Empty glass Citrus, light grass, light vegetal, light honey, floral.

A very intense profile, ultra concentrated on greenery. The nose reveals notes of earth, mushrooms and truffle, reminiscent of the spirit of Mhoba. You can feel fields of grass and sugarcane in the nostrils, accompanied by some flowers. A slight fruitiness and a mineral touch also come, but mainly masked by the vegetal hegemony. On the palate, the aromatic concentration remains very high, with lots of herbs, earth, flowers and sugarcane. It jostles in all directions but remains pleasant on the palate. The fruit tries to make its way to the taste buds, but in vain. The alcohol is well integrated. The finish is a bit spicier. You feel the dry and herbaceous side that lasts a while in the mouth. A good white tasting rum, with a concentrated and exotic profile, but whose price is still a drawback.

A fresh and elegant profile. You clearly find the cane and herbs but less citrus than on other agricoles. A mineral side and a nice balance give it an elegant character. Some will prefer more intensity. Unfortunately the price calls the quality into question.

Tasted quickly during open house. Fresh cane and a marine/iodine side dominate from nose to finish as well as a fairly indulgent sweetness. The price is high for this kind of rum though.
