Opinion lands "good, not great" here — a lightly-styled PM that surprises people expecting the heavy Diamond profile. Expect apple and citrus up front (a couple of tasters caught a calvados edge), then brown sugar, vanilla and light solvent, with darker chocolate and smoky cask notes creeping into the finish. #7111 31.07.2026 Relaxing with some samples while celebrating that I passed 500 km of walking this month. Listening to some old Armin van Buuren tracks on Spotify. Pretty good PM with a nice price tag at release in my mind. Balanced profile with roasted wood, fruits, herbs, polis, copper and caramel.

Much stronger than its reduced brother. Nose smells more like rum. In the mouth relatively burnt, smoky and tastes like plastic. But also nut, tropical fruits and vanilla. Alcohol also very well integrated here.

In direct comparison with the sister release from 2013 not quite as balanced, but still at a good level. Youthful freshness of fruits and milky sweet notes dominate the profile, in the finish also heavy notes of dark chocolate and smoky cask notes come in. Good rum.

On the nose: more caramelized, with almond notes. Also more vanilla than its younger sibling, the reduced version. White chocolate is still present, but accompanied by very slight solvent hints. The alcohol strength is not noticeable. On the palate, warmer, enveloping but not burning. It's powerful aromatically, with a little apple note reminiscent of calvados, but with beautiful vanilla, brown sugar, and spices supporting and rounding it all off. Particularly tasty, indulgent, that calvados and brown sugar side in the long-lasting finish, and a salty touch that makes you salivate a lot!

A less integrated alcohol, from the smell to the finish, which kills everything else. On the nose I detect hints of moonshine, some apples, something sweet and a hint of chocolate. The taste is dominated by alcohol, wood notes and vanilla.

Rhumtour 2025 Tasted this one next to the lighter brother. But even this one is so light. With light I mean no strong flavours. It's a bit alcoholic in taste and has a short finish. Nice taster, don't buy.
