Artificial banana is the headline here — think sweet, chewing-gum banana with vanilla and a chemical edge that several tasters flat-out disliked. Rum&Co seems to push this heavily, but it's targeting a market that already has many spiced rums that are well established. I am remembering A. H. Riise concoctions here, or Don Papa quite artificial in its spices and fruit, sweet. But alas, not as overpowering as said examples... One can drink this, but I would rather not.

Very artificial and watery. Can't be considered rum. More like a liqueur. Good alternative to a cherry liqueur.

Has not much to do with rum anymore; there are clearly better spiced rums. The banana is very prominent in smell and taste but seems artificial. Luckily it was not a purchase, just a free sample.

Not recommended! Comes from the Rum & Co. tasting box. Nose artificially dominated by pear and just chemical, unnatural smells. In the mouth it continues. Chemical, artificial, unnatural pear, spices and lots and lots of sweetness which makes it even worse.

Very pleasant fruity nose. Unfortunately, this rum disappoints on the palate. The aromas are quite good (banana, vanilla) but the artificial aftertaste spoils the enjoyment. I don't think this rum will establish itself in the fiercely competitive sweet rum market. But as always, it's all a matter of taste.

It hardly gets more artificial. Pure sugar slop. Taste-wise it strongly reminds me of the graininess of Hubba Bubba triple mix. Artificial fruit, especially banana.
