#6027 04.12.2025 Got a big box of blanc/unaged Rums and I'm picking some of the famous ones first. Watching the new Mission Impossible at the same time. Nose Fresh, medium intense, balanced, sugarcane, agricole, citrus, anise, light funk, light floral. Palate Oily, intense, balanced, warm, light floral, citrus, sugarcane, agricole, anise, light earthy, light salt, faint olive, peppery, medium dry. Finish Long and warm, peppery, faint smoke, light olive, light herbal, sugarcane, citrus. Empty glass Sugarcane, light olive, lime, light floral, anise. This is an amazing rum when it comes to how strong the sugarcane is represented in the profile. Needs to rest for a shrt while to really open up properly.

First time today the Bio Neisson in the glass – and immediately positively surprised. The smell fresh and crisp with sugarcane, lime peel and a hint of anise. On the palate mild and very straightforward, smoothly down the throat, hardly complex but tasty.

Today a lineup of 8 unaged rums. 4 from the Agricole arena and 4 molasses high ester rums. This 2022 bottling naturally belongs in the Agricole flight. The nose impression is restrained compared to the other Neissons in the flight. Neisson Agricole aromatics—but subtle. Grass, herbs, olive, and sugarcane. The palate impression is soft and mild first and foremost. You could also say elegant. The nose aromatics come through just the same on the palate and carry into the medium-long finish. An Agricole for newcomers. Nicely aromatic and soft, not too demanding. Possibly other vintages are a bit more present.

Very fresh Agricole, the cane, lime, and caramel are predominant, its strength makes it excellent in ti punch. Lots of flavor comes from this Neisson, which is one of my go-to white rums.

A first time in ti-punch, and now neat. A nice slap of freshness. On the nose: fresh cane, lime, herbal. On the palate: matches the nose, fresh side of the cane, floral and herbal. Finish: long. A nice tasting, very good for fans of white agricole.

A very aromatic nose of fresh cane, but the palate is still on the back burner, with that vegetal, green touch... I compare it too much to l'esprit, which I find extraordinary! Finishes on sugar cane. To be enjoyed again, palate rested!
