Another lovely Savanna which is here presented in a classy way and it deserves it, because it’s an extremely tasty dry and spicy rum, which after a while in the glass just tastes better and better 👍💪🏻

Petite dégustation Savanna. Un nez chaud, sec et riche avec des herbes sèches, du caramel, des fruits confits et un côté pimenté, épicé qui lui donne un bel équilibre. Les arômes sont assez peu présents. La bouche monte en puissance très agréablement et dans l’équilibre avec des notes de rancio, de caramel, d’herbes sèches, d’épices et de pâtisseries. Mais je n’y trouve pas toute la complexité du nez. La finale est plutôt longue dans et tout à la fin reste une sorte de caramel amer, de bois et de rancio qui dominent tout. Où sont passés les fruits confits et la complexité promise par le nez ? Cela dit un rhum très bien réalisé et de très belle tenue. Regoûté face à de très beaux Savannas et il me semble un peu faible et trop boisé.

Very elegant and delicate on the nose. Wood and backing spices accompanied by moderate esters from the GA components. Very good combination of (fresh) fruits and flowers. The blend is very well executed yet the nose is a bit more subtle versus today‘s Savanna line-up. On the palate the blend shows the same attributes: very elegant and balanced. Very enjoyable, yet not overly intense. Almost a tiny bit too „nice“ while of excellent quality.

Was für eine Aufmachung! Der Rum wird ihr zwar nicht ganz gerecht, erfüllt aber schon die eleganz. Cremig warm, ganz unaufdringlich und dennoch stark fruchtig, blumig, dazu mit dunkler Schokolade. Der Abgang hält mittwllange an und wärmt den Gaumen mit einer angenehm cremigen Süße. Sehr lecker!

Lecker, süffig. Sehr rund und harmonisch. Erinnert an Isautier. Nicht zwingend an Savanna. Mir gefällt er, aber er ist nicht was man erwarten würde.

This sample snuck into the Savanna Tasting Kit from RumX. Thanks Artur for the sample. Very elegant bottling that tastes good. But the price is really a bit high, probably due to the elaborate packaging.

Zeigt eine schöne Kombination aus Frucht, Würze und leichter Holznote. In der Nase reife Früchte, Vanille und etwas Kräuterigkeit, am Gaumen ergänzt durch karamellige Süße und eine feine Bitterkeit. Der Abgang ist mittellang mit würzigen und fruchtigen Akzenten. Insgesamt ein solider und durchaus komplexer Rum, ohne jedoch ein außergewöhnliches Highlight zu setzen.

Sehr schöner und eleganter Savanna Blend, der Alkohol ist gut eingebunden. GA Anteile scheinen durch, aber auch florale Noten. Vom Aromaprofil her ganz klar ein Savanna. Aber keiner, dem man um jeden Preis nach jagen muss.

"What a nose, like a freshly mown wild flower meadow left do dry in a warm summer. Than there is a flowery peach on the palate that has a hint of Fleur de sel with it. Maritime and warm, almost harsh at the end. Wowsers"
