Best sipped neat with ten minutes of air, which several tasters say really opens it up. Expect dried herbs, caramel, candied fruit and a spicy, floral lift, with a faint fleur-de-sel edge on the palate. One member called the nose "a freshly mown wild flower meadow." Elegant and balanced — though a few felt it drinks almost too easily for a Savanna.

Another lovely Savanna which is here presented in a classy way and it deserves it, because it’s an extremely tasty dry and spicy rum, which after a while in the glass just tastes better and better 👍💪🏻

Petite dégustation Savanna et grande dégustation avec Artur. Un nez chaud, sec et riche avec des herbes sèches, du caramel, des fruits confits et un côté pimenté, épicé qui lui donne un bel équilibre. Les arômes sont assez peu présents. La bouche monte en puissance très agréablement et dans l’équilibre avec des notes de rancio, de caramel, d’herbes sèches, d’épices et de pâtisseries. Mais je n’y trouve pas toute la complexité du nez. La finale est plutôt longue dans et tout à la fin reste une sorte de caramel amer, de bois et de rancio qui dominent tout. Où sont passés les fruits confits et la complexité promise par le nez ? Cela dit un rhum très bien réalisé et de très belle tenue. Regoûté face à une trentaine de Savannas et il me semble bien meilleur cette fois-ci.

Very elegant and delicate on the nose. Wood and backing spices accompanied by moderate esters from the GA components. Very good combination of (fresh) fruits and flowers. The blend is very well executed yet the nose is a bit more subtle versus today‘s Savanna line-up. On the palate the blend shows the same attributes: very elegant and balanced. Very enjoyable, yet not overly intense. Almost a tiny bit too „nice“ while of excellent quality.

What a presentation! The rum doesn't quite live up to it, but it definitely delivers elegance. Creamy and warm, very unobtrusive yet strongly fruity and floral, with dark chocolate too. The finish lasts a medium time and warms the palate with a pleasantly creamy sweetness. Very tasty!

Tasty, easy-drinking. Very smooth and harmonious. Reminds me of Isautier. Not necessarily like Savanna. I like it, but it’s not what you’d expect.

Shows a nice combination of fruit, spice, and a light wood note. On the nose, ripe fruits, vanilla, and a bit of herbal character; on the palate, complemented by caramel sweetness and a fine bitterness. The finish is medium-length with spicy and fruity accents. Overall, a solid and quite complex rum, without setting an extraordinary highlight.

This sample snuck into the Savanna Tasting Kit from RumX. Thanks Artur for the sample. Very elegant bottling that tastes good. But the price is really a bit high, probably due to the elaborate packaging.

Very nice and elegant Savanna Blend, the alcohol is well integrated. GA shares seem to come through, but also floral notes. From the aroma profile clearly a Savanna. But not one you have to chase at all costs.

What a nose, like a freshly mown wildflower meadow left to dry in a warm summer. Then there is a flowery peach on the palate that has a hint of Fleur de sel with it. Maritime and warm, almost harsh at the end. Wowsers
