The rum reveals fruity notes of cherries, vanilla, citrus fruits as well as a slightly bitter undertone of coffee. There are also nuances of wood, leather and spice. Overall, too leathery and one-dimensional.

This is a Pure Single Rum and I once again found out that unblended rum from PM isn’t my bag, but I always like it as a part of a blend. For those of you that like PM as a Pure Single Rum is this one a really good buy and good value for money.

Now a Port Mourant from Rum Exchange. The nose is very fresh and vegetal, but also a bit fruity. On the palate, the fruitiness dominates, but this rum also tastes a bit metallic and like rubber.
