The coconut is the surprise here — big and clear on the nose and the palate, rounded off with vanilla and caramel. At 48% the extra strength carries the aromas well without turning hot, and the body stays soft and very easy-drinking. A couple of members peg it as sweet and suspect some help there. Nice alcohol strength. In the smell as well as in the taste great coconut which I personally really like very much. Rounded off with vanilla and caramel, I think this is the best one in the Kirsch Advent calendar so far.

Pretty decent blend from Travellers. Their classic profile comes through clearly. You have to like it, I do. With a slightly higher ABV it would certainly gain in complexity. Unfortunately, it's a bit thin. PLV fits.

Blind purchase in Duty Free for 36€. I was pleasantly surprised, the increased drinking strength preserves the aromas well. It has a lovely coconut nose, combined with baking spices and wood. In the mouth, it is very sweet (presumably with a little help), exceptionally round with coconut, spices, wood and roasted aromas. All in all: a nice 'Spaniard' for the small pouch and very drinkable.

Description: received for free after a group order at rhum attitude. Nose: round, woody, chocolate Palate: woody, chocolate Finish: woody, chocolate Conclusion: it's good and better than a 5-year-old Doorly's but still not outstanding. Price 39€ on rumx.
