#6114 24.12.2025 A few more samples before leaving for our Christmas get together. Nose Fresh, floral, citrus, faint tomato, vegetal, light honey, clove, faint mint. Palate Oily, fresh, light peppery, faint sour, light salt, floral, citrus, light mint, clove, light tomato. Finish Medium long, light peppery, citrus, light salt, light sour, vegetal. Empty glass Citrus, herbs, light honey, clove, sugarcane.

The nose is extremely chemical or medicinal with iodine, mixed with olive. The taste then adds gasoline. Sounds worse than it is, you can still drink it quite well, but it's an 'acquired taste'.

Finally, there was a Clairin. Also a typically herbal spirit. Olive is clearly recognizable, as is sugar cane. Various herbs are also present, and the Clairin is quite grassy.

My favorite from all of the unaged Clairins for now. Very oily, olive-like, grassy. Excellent quality rum, worth every cent. It could be a little bit more complexed though
