Whisky'n'More Hattingen March 2026. Then the Saint Aubin Amarone Cask Finish. I find it quite tasty too, light sweetness, lots of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, some wood comes through. Really tasty.

On the nose, the rum has no noticeable alcohol and is delicately fruity, synaesthesia with the label color? On the palate, unfortunately, it falls off too much for my taste, it seems one-dimensional (too much influence from the [admittedly rare] Amarone cask) and boring, then the taste turns dry and musty at the same time, this typical cellar "aroma", I can't think of the right word right now. (Addendum: "musty" is the right word.) The finish is practically non-existent. Interesting sipper for beginners.

#7240 29.08.2026 Tasted at the German Rum Festival 2026. Pretty decent bottling with an OK price tag in my mind. My quick notes while tasting. Round, fruit, spice, amarone, wood, sweet, caramel, nutts.
