West Indies Plantation Barbados (Port Cask) 2015
Most people find this easy and pleasant to sip: brown sugar, spice and a light touch of port sweetness, with a smooth medium finish. A couple of tasters lean toward the oak, calling the nose and palate almost all wood. There's a mild sweetness here that some like "just right" and others notice more. Works neat, over ice, or in cola.

On The Rocks: On the nose mild alcohol, brown sugar and spice. Taste reveals and immediate alcohol burn and mild sweetness with a delayed moderate spice. Finish is medium with the mild sweetness and strong spice slowly fading away. Mixed Pepsi Zero: On the nose a mildly dusty Pepsi zero. Taste taste is smooth with a mild sweetness but lacks depth. It is very enjoyable mixed but a bit of a waste.
