A blend from Martinique and Thailand, but you don't really feel the alchemy. The nose is quite shy, with notes of caramelized molasses, cane and candied fruits, dried fruits, mild spices on vanilla and pepper, nuts but also vegetal and herbal notes. It's rather light and simple olfactorily. The palate follows the same line, with a soft and light attack where cane, spices (nutmeg), wood and dried fruits are present but in small doses. On the contrary, the more agricole notes appear more distinctly in the mid-palate and are slightly unpleasant. The two terroirs don't really complement each other and no synergy lifts the juice, whose alcohol content is already relatively low. The finish is a bit longer than expected but offers nothing original. You find once again cane, spices, dried fruits and vegetal and herbal notes. The name is already not easy to carry (and to say!) but on top of that the quality is not necessarily there, which is a shame for a promising blend from such a reputed bottler.

Basically a nice, very beginner-friendly and probably very young Agricole, but I would never have thought of Thailand as part of the blend, as you can't taste or smell much of it. Overall, unfortunately a bit thin and gone very quickly (short finish)... Nice, but somehow nothing special and I don't understand the point of the blend.
