#5683 21.09.2025 Enjoying some samples while preparing samples from yesterdays tasting. Nose Fresh, agricole, fruits, light grass, citrus, sugarcane, light tomato, light olive. Palate Oily, fresh, agricole, fruits, light citrus, sugarcane, spice, light tomato, light olive, light salt. Finish Medium long, fresh, oily, citrus, light herbal, sugarcane. Empty glass Sugarcane, vanilla, citrus.

Malgré les 66 degrés , ce rhum se laisse deguster encore assez facilement. Le nez est intense et agréable. La bouche suis sur une même expression avec beaucoup moins de fruité. C est assez huileux et il enrobe bien le palais.

Dieser Rhum wurde in einer Pot Still mit einer kleinen 7 stufigen Kolonne namens „La belle Alice“ destilliert. Nase: Randvoll mit herrlichem Geschmack. Es strömen intensive, sehr frische Aromen von Gras, frischem Zuckerrohr, Haselnuss, Gewürzen und Pfefferigen Noten heraus. Gaumen: Intensiv vollmundig und süssliches Zuckerrohr mit würzigem Haselnuss, pikanter Schärfe, mit Fruchtnoten von Birnen und Apfel. Der Alkohol ist bemerkenswert gut integriert. Ja er ist scharf und würzig, aber die Textur besitzt eine sanfte Cremigkeit. Abgang: Komplexer Agricole hervorragend hergestellt mit langem wärmend süssem Abgang der langsam abklingt.

La sample de 2021 m'avait déçu, j'ai pu goûter une bouteille neuve de 2022 et je suis totalement réconcilié avec la perle brute. On y retrouve d'abord l'odeur truffée. Mais l'alcool me semble bien mieux intégré et il a plus de goût tout en restant très fin. Un rhum fort (66°), qui doit s'aérer. Frais, huileux, canne à sucre et végétaux (herbacé) Approx +2pt par rapport au 2021. Je pense que mon sample 2021 avait un problème.

La Perle Brute 2022 – 66% This cuvée “Cannes de Monsieur Paul Octave” is distilled without reduction in the copper still equipped with the 7-plate column, “La Belle Aline”. More intense and warm on the palate, certainly, but remarkably well integrated. It begins to reveal more precise aromas: citrus, light herbs, and a nice energy.
