Overall a rum with fantastic aromas and with flavors almost at the same level. This rum, a 970 Single Cask from the Engenhos do Norte Distillery in Madeira is distilled in 2010 and aged for 11 years in an oak barrel before bottled at Brut de Fut in just 228 bottles.

Strong influence from the Madeira wine cask, which Engenhos do Norte distillery generally uses. Very fruity, berry-like, woody and cask-heavy, as well as caramel sweetness. Elegant and balanced. Not infinitely complex, but high quality all the same.
