Für mich persönlich der beste Agricole des Jahres 2023 super süffig und rund! Tolle fruchtige und beerige Nase. Er wirkt am Gaumen nicht hoch komplex, bringt aber trotzdem tolle Aromen von Früchten und Schokolade mit sich. Er wirkt sehr ausbalanciert und Rund.

I'm not giving it a score yet, as I'm not sure after the first tasting whether the current hype is justified. I have to admit that the rhum didn't knock my socks off as expected. At least on the palate, it seemed drinkable, but also somewhat indifferent and lacking in character, whereas the nose was promising. Let's see how the evaluation turns out when the sample from @Leo arrives and the current cold releases me from its grip. Update 2023-12-08: The sample from Leo has arrived, I tasted it straight away - and can now clearly award points, and lots of them! This J.M is simply amazing! Really very successful and round, without any weaknesses, but with all the strengths that make it a top product. I like the slightly shy vanilla note on the palate, but even more the dark berry impression on the nose. For me, it's a contender for bottling of the year. All I can say is: thank you!

Second tasting: A smooth and round Agricole. With lots of nuts, spices and red berries. Full-bodied on the palate, with a medium-long finish accompanied by roasted aromas. A great Agricole with a super PLV, unfortunately quickly sold out.

Richtig geiler Agricole! Während ältere Agricoles für meinen Geschmack schon zu holzig oder bitter sind, ist der Wu Dram genau on Point. Für mich genau die richtige Balance aus Fruchtigkeit und bitteren Noten, fast schon ungewöhnlich „wenig“ Agricole-Noten. Trotzdem noch klarer Agricole-Character und damit für mich eine der besten Abfüllungen seit langem, was diesen Stil angeht!

Wow! I've never smelled and tasted a combination like this before! Homemade red fruit jelly with vanilla pulp meets dark chocolate, meets Earl Grey tea with plenty of bergamot and subtle lavender and walnut. Incredibly mild and dangerously drinkable. Absolutely awesome stuff! For me, the young agricole brut de fut discovery of the year! 😍😋

Tasting 16.10 Für mich persönlich ein runder Agricole. Ihm mag dir Komplexität fehlen. Dies macht er ab durch seinen Geschmack absolut wieder gut. Smooth- schöne Noten von Gebäck, Butter, Vanille gesellen sich zu Beeren und Schokonoten. Sehr dezente nussige Note, dir kaum vernehmbar ist. Alkohol ist sehr gut integriert. Irgendwie mein Equivalent zum Soulfood. Der Rum, zu dem ich greifen würde, wenn ich Lust auf etwas Angenehmes und Leckeres möchte. Für mich persönlich eine meiner 2 Abfüllungen des Jahres mit klasse PLV.

#4988 20.12.2024 Relaxing at home with some samples. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, orange, grass, light polish, floral, dried fruit. Palate Balanced, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, oily, light grass, medium spicy, light citrus, light caramel. Finish Medium to long, balanced, medium spicy, oily, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, light citrus, light nutts, light caramel. The empty glass has light coconut and peaches as well as a light herbal note.

Eine wunderbare Farbe! Typisch J.M, diesmal mit Keksen und Kokosnuss. Kräftig, ausgewogen und gute Integration des Alkohols. Eine richtig tolle Nase. 🤩🤩🤩 Sehr warm und vollmundig. Würze und getrocknete Früchte. Perfekte Trinkstärke. Hammer-Abgang. Wärmt zuerst den Mund und dann ein schönes Aromenfeuerwerk. 🎇🎇🎆 Richtig guter J.M mit Foursquare-Einschlag. Incredibly soft and well-integrated alcohol. Warming, fruity, little wood and grass - super relaxed and easy sipping for an Agricole. Especially the roasted aromas (espresso and dark almonds) in combination with butter melting on fresh pudding - à la bonne heure.
