8,3:On the nose, tropical fruits like banana and mango, citrus fruits, roasted wood notes with pastry, gingerbread, marzipan, dark chocolate, caramelized, allspice and vanilla, slightly vegetal molasses, bump into our nosetrils. On aeration, the molasses is flowery, herbaceous, a bit grassy, tons of various sweet notes arise like toffee or cream toffee, popcorn, cookie, as barrel impact is strong, leather, roasted nuts, coffee, balanced and thick. 8,1:On the palate, the attack is sweet with roasted wood notes, sherry finish, like caramelized roasted nuts, biscuits, pastry, gingerbread, crunchy bread, leather, slightly smoky, spicy with vanilla, later a bit resinous, fruits like dried fruits, tropical with banana and pineapple, citrus, as the molasses is thick, slightly bitter, vegetal with briny olive, herbaceous, flowery and grassy.The level of esters is low, there is also some metallic patina. 8:The finish is medium long, dry, slightly tannic, less balanced, as the notes from palate are less playful on outro of our tasting.
