Score is largely impacted by the proof & price of the product. Quality, uncut, undoctored 18+ year Spanish-style rum with (possibly) some Guyana in the mix for $90? Count me in any day of the week.

65.7% - they do 2/3 batches per year Classic different Spanish style rum. It is really solid in the profile, Spanish style, blended rum. Vanilla, nutmeg, leather, coffee, tobacco, baked pineapple, orange peel, fermented fruit Very, very well integrated alcohol. It’s almost not noticeable alcohol. No additives Nicaragua and Panama only Ex bourbon, mollasses based, straight aged(not solera) It’s the first time I had a chance to try it. Izalco has a very good and interesting range. I would say every bottle serves different purpose or person - commendable!
