Has a rye whiskey spiciness to it. Leaves a long finish because of that. Lots of barrel notes, but they are hidden by the spiciness. I've been drinking this alongside some other Trini rums, including sugar cane juice ones, and they all have a very similar taste profile. It isn't my favorite.

Good drinkable rum, but for me it was already too woody and lacked fruit. Price-wise, it's a bit too high for what it offers...
