Sipped neat, this drinks less like rum and more like fruit schnapps or grappa — lots of artificial strawberry candy, honey and caramel, then a sharp, hot finish where the 57% isn't tucked away. Alcohol not well integrated, has something of artificial strawberry chewing gum á la Campino cream strawberry sweets and tutti-frutti. ... Not really my cup of tea. Super spicy in the finish. Too bad. There could have been more.

Interesting, strawberry dominates the nose. Then sweet notes of fruit brandy. In the mouth it continues as a fruit brandy, fruity and somewhat rough in terms of alcohol. Finishes briefly with strong strawberry again. Interesting that this is a rum. I don't need a bottle of it.

Day trip to Düsseldorf, September 2025. Shop Spirit Bomb. Also tasted on site. I quite like this Tahiti. Fruit like strawberry on the nose, plus a hint of caramel. Also fruity and caramel on the palate, but also somehow artificial and sweet.

In the nose slightly sweetish in the direction of honey, a little strawberry candy aroma and memories of grappa. The taste is rather artificially sweet, reminiscent of sweets. There's also a little too much alcohol at the end, reminiscent of fruit brandy. Had somehow expected something different from Tahiti. Was probably due to its exotic status. 😁

On its own, it takes some getting used to. Not my cup of tea. So, as always, I tried it as CubaLibre. Still not so tingly, but you can drink it. But all in all, a nice project that didn't really work out.

Well, unfortunately that's nothing... the whole rum is extremely sweet, artificial, thin.... Somehow "plump"

This is fine. But too many notes that fail to make it good. This really has die Grappa/ Eau de Vie characteristics which i really do not like. otherwise it is a tad too much like a panamanese soulless douche...
