HSE 2013 amber mist 47.8° Special selection and bottling for V&B A very dark color that suggests strong barrel influence. This is found in the nose, but with softer notes of coconut chips, a bit of anise, and exotic fruits. To the point of confusing it with a Foursquare. The palate corrected the mistake with a deeply Martinican taste, very fruity and still this very present oak barrel. Good length on the palate. A superb HSE!

Nose of nutmeg, coconut, tobacco, vanilla, dried fruits. Very pleasant. On the palate light vanilla then wood and spices arrive, nutmeg and pepper in front, ripe fruits and nuts. Slight bitterness. Peppery finish with coconut, and a rather fine woodiness, quite long and very pleasant. Nice agricole and good value for money.
