A real surprise for me. Really rich variety of aromas on the nose: very fruity, spicy, nutty, sweet. These continue on the palate and are joined by chocolate, caramel, coconut and a little wood - and is very fresh and light. The finish is a short splash that lingers pleasantly warm for a medium length of time. I like the complexity of the aromas.

We have a soy bar coated in chocolate with taste of coconut that's called Margot. It is exactly this you get on the nose. Sweet treat, chcolate, vanilla, coconut. Taste is similar but with hint of oakiness and woody aromas. It isquite sweet but it is interesting to the point that I would probably even buy a bottle. Why you ask? Because the taste is something I have not ever felt. I do not even mind the sweetness. Oh and the finish is quite long for a sweet rum. I like it.

Very interesting. Bubble gum, perfume and sweet mint both in aroma and taste. Sweetness reminiscent of artificial sweetener. Short finish

The worst rum from the Advent calendar so far. It tastes relatively fruity, which is not to my taste. It certainly tastes very good mixed with cola as a long drink, but not quite as good on its own.

Trochu chemická a bonbonová chuť i vůně

The nose is interesting and not similar to smth else. It’s floral, sweet, with some spices. Taste is similar but i personaly dont like its alcoholic sweetness. It is like a chemical taste. Finish is medium and wouldnt surprise you.

Rum from Tahiti, somewhat similar to the Don Papa Baroko, but without the extreme sweetness. Fine for a change, but lacks abv and character. Has some gum flavor, not my thing.

#5070 Friday 24.01.2025 - 26.01.2025 A nice weekend in my sisters summerhouse with old friends and colleagues tasting a lot of rums. I can only recommend like we did, no phones allowed and then only music in the background 😊 Colour Dark. Nose Light wood, sweet, light cherry, herbs, light sugarcane, faint smoke. Palate Sweet, light oily, light wood, sugarcane, dried fruit, spice, light licorice, light cherry. Finish Sweet, oily, wood, light smoke, light coffee, light anise, light herbs. Empty glass Sweet, dried fruit, sugarcane, gummibears, light caramel.

Jesus, that's sweet and fragrant. It reminds me of some candy

Ungewöhnlich. Könnte man machen, wenn es kein Rhum wäre.... Irgendwie alles künstlich. Geschmack wie Geruch.

To finish the "24 days of rum" calendar, I'm going to do 4-5 samples each day. The nose on this one is very synthetic sweet, with smells of banana and chewing gum. In the notes a lot more chewing gum and some hints of citrus

Very artificial, tutti frutti candies, bubblegum, menthol… Not rum or even rhum, maybe spiced rum, but better elixir or spirit drink. Very long menthol bubblegum aftertaste.

Sample no.12 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2023. Bubblegum, menthol and tropical fruits on the very strange nose from a rum. Palate is also sweet with bubblegum, menthol and dried fruits. Very weird rum, almost like a spiced rum.

It's really nasty! Sweetened with strawberries and herbs...
