Cave Guildive Secret Nicaragua Rum 2004
Pour this neat and give it time — at 66% it's a slow sipper, not a mixer. Expect dark chocolate, burnt caramel, pecans and walnuts, with candied fruit, plums and dates underneath. Several tasters call it the best Nicaragua they've had, and most agree the high proof sits surprisingly well. A touch dry, slightly bitter from the roast, and it opens up better once your palate is wet.

Der Tropfen wird mit jedem Mal besser. Echt super dunkel, fassig mit Malz und Karamell, dunkle Schokolade. Im Hintergrund ein tolles nussiges Aroma. Habe zum zweiten Mal verkostet und das Rating nach oben korrigiert. Lecker! Update: Dritte Verkostung, wieder hochkorrigiert. Lecker!

Einer der besseren Nicaragua Rums. Etwas zu verbrannt bitter aber eine schöne note von gebrannten Kastanien, Rosinen.
