Après avoir été très agréablement surpris par les première sorties Watt Rum (Foursquare 2007 & Clarendon 2004), la question se posait : 👉 ce Worthy Park est-il du même niveau ? On est ici sur un rhum jamaïcain WP, mark JMWP : ➡️ distillé en 2008 chez Worthy Park, ➡️ embouteillé en Brut de Fût à 55,1%, ➡️ 15 ans de vieillissement (7 ans tropical + 8 ans continental), ➡️ 228 bouteilles pour The Nectar. 👃 Nez Aucun doute possible : la Jamaïque est là. Bananes bien mûres en tête, fruits exotiques (noix de coco), une touche de fraîcheur mentholée et un joli fond vanillé. 👄 Bouche Attaque franche et plaisante. Toujours sur les fruits tropicaux, mais avec un registre plus fumé. Belle matière, beaucoup de texture, c’est clairement huileux. 🔥 Finale Plutôt réussie, avec un boisé élégant, de la banane persistante et une pointe de pamplemousse. 👉 Sans révolutionner le genre, c’est un embouteillage solide et très agréable, qui fait clairement le job. Et la meilleure nouvelle dans tout ça ? Avec ces adieux, de la place s’est libérée sur l’étagère… de quoi ouvrir de nouvelles aventures très prochainement 😏🥃
