Review by Stefan Persson
Tasted this rum, with the well-descriptive name, at the Outlier stand during the Sweden Rum Fest 2026. It’s a molasses based, pot still distilled blend comprising of 97% unaged and 3% 2yo rum aged in ex-Scotch casks. The nose is medicinal, spicy, sweet and fruity with scents of pepper, salt, cardamom, toffee, coconut, plums, tea and olives. At the palate it’s complex, intense, medicinal, spicy, nutty, fruity, sweet, smoky, mineral and metallic with flavors of pepper, vanilla, chili, almonds, plums, coconut, passion fruit, toffee and olives. The finish is long.
