I have to say it again. I love Jamaican rums. Plenty of jamaican funk, honey and lot of citrus in aroma. What I really do not understand why there has to be those technical scents (love it in rum from Trinidad). ABV is pretty high but aroma itself is very gentle. Taste gave me lot of Jamaican funk, spice and sweet flavor of honey. There is also a hint of creamy texture. I noticed som fruits and quite a lot burnt wood with technical flavor.Finish is very pleasant with warm feeling and sweet notes (this feeling persists for quite a long time). Overall it is better sample than RS Worthy Park 2007. I would like to have bottles and maybe try to compare them much more.

A pretty decent rum, only the alcohol content is a bit too sharp here. Tropical fruits are noticeable, mostly fermented but also overripe. Otherwise, still slightly biting and medicinal.

Extremely pungent nose of burnt rubber, aromatically the Worthy Park comes through somewhat, but is overshadowed by burnt rubber (reminding of Fiji). Additionally, the alcohol is quite biting and dominant. In the finish, some dark caramel, banana, and nutmeg come through, which fits Worthy Park again. Overall, rather disappointing for me.

After few sips much better as the alcohol fades away slightly. I can feel very nice WP characteristoc notes in the background but still too strong for me
