Description: single varietal rum red cane (B64.277), distillation August 2023, bottling October 2023. 1600 bottles in the batch. Will I buy another bottle? => no. Bought at €45.60 on rum stylez. Tasting neat. In the quest for white, I bought this favorite Plaisance 2023. Nose: already at the smell a solid 7/10. Fruity, floral. Palate: peppery, even white pepper, aniseed, vegetal, alcoholic at first. Needs airing. Quite different from the smell with the aniseed standing out more... Finish: medium to long, slight aniseed, slight agricole. Empty glass: slight aniseed, agricole, floral, fruity. Conclusion, doesn't taste like the smell. On the nose, good agricole (floral fruity). Really different from Bel Aire. The aniseed side I rather don't like in the mouth... I feel like I'm destroying it in rating so... If others taste it, please add their rating to possibly dilute mine.
