La Favorite Plaisance Canne Bleue 2023
One taster called this the "quintessenza della canna bleue" — and that earthy, single-variety cane character is the whole point here. Expect floral and grassy notes up front, citrus, wet earth and moss, with ripe cane bringing a little sweetness before a dry, lightly smoky finish. At 51% it's oily but firm, and a couple of members found it harshly smoky for a white agricole.

Perfumed nose with intense sweet cane, floral, vegetal(green) and some citrus. The palate is clear and intense with notes of autumn underbrush loam, moss, sweet cane, flowers, light citrus, super delicious! A "grappa" with great personality, for me quintessential cane bleue. In the empty glass musk and earth (my favorite aromas, that's why the high rating, objectively an 8+)

Very strong attack, not really round, for lovers of peaty and very earthy tastes it's ok but for me it's too smoky.

La Favorite - Plaisance canne bleue 2023 - 51% - 🇲🇶 La Favorite nous sort un jus issu de la parcelle "plaisance" où la distillerie a planté, partiellement, de la canne bleue. On a donc un jus mono-variétal et mono-parcellaire. On a un côté super végétal/floral avec quelques épices (poivre kampot) mais surtout le pot pourri et un petit quelque chose de pastille pour la gorge type Ricola. La canne bien mûre vient apporter une belle sucrosité. Plus typé "la favorite" que ses prédécesseurs (digue et bel air).
