The nose promises fruit, light caramel and spices. However, the taste is rather flat and a little watery. The aromas of the nose are not tasted, or only very slightly. Instead, a leather/coffee note comes to the fore in the finish.

A tasty drop from the house of Botran and surprisingly deep and complex for 40% ABV. Still not overwhelming. A delicious sipper that clearly puts toffee and coffee in the spotlight. The port wine flavour wonderfully rounds off this pour.

Roajú really surprised me, and although I don't know how to describe it since this is my first review. I can say that its a rum with a very marked character, notes of cinnamon cloves, licorice and ripened red fruits are especially felt. Neat is my favorite way for this one. 🥃

Sweet rum note on the nose, nice cask influence, but also wood spice; similar on the tongue, sweet-fruity start, sherry and port casks clearly recognizable (therefore not my cup of tea), then comes the spice, long finish
