8,7:On the nose, sugarcane juice, slowly releases flowery, herbaceous, vegetal aspect, as the barrel impact is strong with bourbon and sherry notes, nicely rounding our first impression.The fruits are dried and yellow, the wood roasted with roasted nuts, hazelnuts express themselves on aeration. 8,8:On the palate, the attack is really delicious, syrupy with sweet sugarcane honey, as the cane is grassy, herbaceous and flowery, the barrel impact is strong again, with bourbon, sherry, as the fruits are mostly yellow and the wood is roasted with pastry, spicy with pepper, slightly smoky. The cane becomes mineral, when the rum is well oxidized. 8,7:The finish is long, dry, the cane is fresh with tea, grassy and herbaceous, various fruits intermingle with each other, like yellow, dried and citrus fruits, the wood is still roasted with nuts, leather(sherry), oaky and spicy with vanilla.

First RumX community meeting with eight people. Dry herbs and cashew nuts, vegetal notes, yellow fruits, cherry, and tropical fruits. The first sip is soft, then the aromas strengthen with yellow fruits, a vegetal side, and a more pronounced pastry note than on the nose. The finish is rather short even though fruity aromas linger for a long time.

When I think of Clement I automatically think of the magnificent rare Casks, here we have a completely different profile. A nice relaxed Agricole with typical grassy, vegetal and herbal notes. What also comes through well is the cane syrup.

So this one was really strong, considering the price, really top. Nice Agricole, of course very vegetal, herbal and floral, but also slightly flowery. Otherwise you can also detect some wood and spice.

This Clément offers a lot for the price and is quite drinkable despite the higher cask strength. On the nose, it is very pleasant and the typical vegetal agricole notes are clearly present. Spicy woody notes, sugarcane, herbs, and floral tones also leave room for dried fruits, yellow fruits, bourbon, and cashews. On the palate, it is very spicy due to the cask strength. Wood, roasted notes, earth, herbs, sugarcane, yellow fruits, honey, and grass lead over to floral notes, spice, bourbon, and something mineral. The finish is medium length and also spicy and earthy. Besides the mentioned aromas, it also offers tea, nutty notes, and leather. This agricole is a clear recommendation for just over 60 euros. Thanks to the person responsible for this good sample 😀

First of all, you have to say - cool color. Bright clear orange-brown. Unfortunately, the nose impression and thus the inner qualities really can't keep up with the visual impression. There are woody notes (oak) combined with underlying fruity agricole nuances. All OK, but not complex and doesn't change over time. On the palate, the wood dominates too much for my taste. Added to that is sugarcane with its sweetness and also some vegetal notes. Also OK here, but not really balanced. I'm a bit torn. The rum is not bad, but I won't buy a bottle after the sample even though it still lands in the very good category.

A Clement as I like it. The nose is intense with floral notes, hay, tea but also fruit and wood. On the palate surprisingly sweet with honey and syrup. Along with roasted aromas, herbs and a hint of mint. Everything is clearly underlined here with the floral notes. The finish then drier but still sweet. Alcohol is well integrated. A very harmonious Agricole with a successful finish. Definitely a no-brainer for the price for Agricole fans or for those who want to enter the world of cask strength Agricoles without much financial risk.

What a great find, and the price is a absolute steal! A lot of nuance with a nice, fat mouth! Alcohol integration is not 100%, but still going down down like a nice fruit salad. I wonder how many more rums from Clément I have slept on?
