#7247 30.08.2026 Tasted at the German Rum Festival 2026. Had a really nice talk with both the brothers while at the stand. I like wines from Rioja and I was surprised at how well this experiment has gone. On top of that the price tag is very good. My quick notes while tasting. Fresh, spice, roasted wood, molasses, wine, chocolate, caramel, honey, sweet, peppery, tannins.

One of the favorites. The maturation in Rioja Casks gives an Interesting “oily” feeling to the Rum and is a lige more complex and different compared to the standard Ron Sostenible 8 YO in Bourbon Casks. Very Long finish.. almost perfect.
