A rum tasted at the Rum and Gin Festival in Lucerne in 2024 and with friends. A beautiful, gourmand nose with fruit, Christmas spices, varnished wood, fruitcake and toasted hazelnut, very clear once you've noticed it. The palate is just as beautiful and complex, with fruitcake, toasted hazelnut, fruit and sandalwood. The finish is long, on fruit and sandalwood. A real discovery, this Clément single cask is like no other. Tasted again, the oxidation reduces its complexity a little.

Agricoles with such alcohol strengths are rather rare. Accordingly, my expectations for the flavor volume were high. You are rewarded with nice fruit and spice/wood. The typical (hazel) nut is of course not missing. Great value for money.

Nose: dried fruit, some banana, cinnamon, wood, a little spicy at the beginning but evaporates The palate is actually like the nose, the fruit is nice and intense, still cherry, the spiciness unfortunately remains a little, the finish has a lot of wood with vanilla which I like though

We start with a very pleasant nose, I feel like I'm in a bakery. On the palate, it's something else, extremely complex and flattering. It's an airy and very accessible rum.

Nice lively powerful attack, the alcohol is strong, the feeling higher than normal, woody dry encaustic varnish caramel, nice character rum.
