A barely-aged agricole blanc — a quick rest in ex-Cognac oak gives it a pale gold tint and a rounder edge than a straight white. Fresh sugarcane, citrus and floral notes lead, with a hint of solvent and a little smoke. One taster warns it "se boit comme du petit lait" — it goes down dangerously easy.

A rum tasted at Rhum Fest in 2024. A classic agricultural nose with a pleasant sweetness. On the palate, there's a hint of woody alchemy (barrel ageing is very short, the number of days is a manufacturing secret). Slight tannins appear on the palate, and the length is quite substantial for this type of rum.

To start, I love this bottle design. The pale yellow color of this rum, which resembles a white rum, is due to a short time in the barrel. This gives it a nice roundness and softness. You can also recognize the main theme of this brand: cane, vegetal, floral, slight salinity.

#6026 04.12.2025 Got a big box of blanc/unaged Rums and I'm picking some of the famous ones first. Watching the new Mission Impossible at the same time. Nose Fresh, citrus, sugarcane, floral, light olive, light grass, spice, light herbal. Palate Oily, fresh, sugarcane, light floral, light pear, citrus, light herbal, light earthy, medium spicy, olive, light salt, naturally sweet. Finish Medium to long, warm, fresh, oily, sugarcane, naturally sweet, medium spicy, light peach, light olive, light salt. Empty glass Peach, light floral, light marzipan, citrus, olive. This distiller masters both the aged and unaged rums in my mind. Overall pretty good releases over the years.

It's pretty well done, lots of roundness and voluptuousness, very good sugar cane, very well distilled. I really enjoyed tasting it. My first from this distillery, I'll be back.

Notes taken at Rhum Fest 2024, Quick notes and a bit heavy palate, sorry :) Even better than my 2021 I think, still as much fruit, cane But above all a slightly rounder side and perhaps a little less vegan, top.

Renaissance 2023 – 52% Long fermentation (5 to 6 days) with oenological yeasts, distillation in a copper pot still equipped with a small column, then a quick passage in ex-Cognac oak barrels. The numbered carafe clearly plays the bling-bling card. On the nose and palate, you feel less of the vegetal side of the previously described whites, and the profile gains roundness. This micro ephemeral woody touch works quite well, I find.

Light rum for its degree, and very pleasant. It's a great discovery - beware of the "treacherous" potential with this rum, which drinks like whey. The nose is slightly solvent, floral and pastry-like. On the palate, green cane with complexity. Extremely well-integrated, you don't feel the titration at all, but it helps the complexity (much more so, for my taste, on the classic renaissance). A little smokiness and roundness. Good length considering its age, with a little barrel.

Creamy rhum agricole, easy to drink despite its 52%. Its short time in the barrel gives it a certain roundness which, for me, allows it to be enjoyed neat. It will elevate your ti-punch, but try it first on its own.
