A very nice rum and the price is OK.

It took 1h30 of airing to have something pleasant to drink. The nose is interesting, nice, but the palate is bland, without real length in the mouth. It leaves the impression of having drunk a sip of diluted triple sec.

I don't know if it was the sample I had but a strong gasoline smell on opening that took quite a while to dissipate. After that it falls back into the Père Labat profiles, woody, mild spices, fruits and citrus. On the palate no gasoline note at all, quite powerful, wood, fruit, citrus, all there. Good but it lacks a little something to get a better rating.
