#6290 28.01.2026 Got home from work a bit early today, so time for a few samples before picking up my wife. Nose Intense, fresh, sugarcane, citrus, light grass, pear, light smoke, light nutts. Palate Intense, sugarcane, oily, citrus, light melon, apple, light nutts, light vegetal. Finish Very long, oily, light spicy, sugarcane, citrus, faint smoke, papaya. Empty glass Papaya, sugarcane, light grass, light melen, pear.

La Route des Rhums Advent Calendar 2023 No. 9. Here a Blanc Agricole from HSE with 72% ABV. I think I've never had that much in an Agricole. Nose as always very citrus-fruity, on the palate you do feel the alcohol, but not as strong as expected. It's okay.

Advent 2023. Good bdc but quite classic. Nose of fresh cane, herbal and salty Mouth strong attack of bdc (even blind), then good cane and slightly lemony. Warms well like a bdc. Long finish on fresh cane.
