#4623 24.02.2024 Great tasting event at Whisky Watcher with food and lots of bottles. Nose Agricole, light wood, grass, light mint, floral, cherry, light sugarcane. Palate Medium dry, wood, Agricole, vegetal, cherry, light nutts. Finish Wood, vegetal, light mint, marzipan, faint chocolate.

Tasting 16.12 Beautiful, round agricole with the typical agricole notes. Beautifully grassy on the tongue, with a slight woody impact. Subtle spicy, nutty notes. Personally, I prefer the Wu Dram from Rhum J.M to the one we tried

The second tasting of the night at Whisky Watcher the 24th of February 2024, with nice company. A very fruity agricole, with a nose of raisin and sugarcane. The notes has hints of grass and oak to it. Afterwards a smokyness and a lingering aftertaste

Solid agricole, grassy, nutty, right amount of wood. Nothing special or unusual about the rum and I wouldn't have needed a whole bottle (impulse buy under the influence of alcohol). But still delicious.

Im Vergleich zu Fass #210098 ist hier weniger frisches Holz am Werk, wodurch der Rhum für mich etwas an Gefälligkeit gewinnt. Allerdings sind die Fruchtaromen nicht so tropisch ausgeprägt - der Schwerpunkt liegt eher bei Steinobst wie Kirsche und Aprikose - und das Aromenspektrum ist auch insgesamt nicht ganz so vielschichtig. Ohne Frage ein leckerer Agricole, jedoch hat mir die Schwesterabfüllung ein kleines bisschen besser gefallen.

Tasted against the Wu Dram ... this one is lighter and more Agrigole or J.M. typical. Like the Wu Dram better ... has more bourbon and is fuller bodied with more nuts and texture.

Unfortunately, the typical tropical notes are missing here. Some nuttiness, wood, spiciness, rather on the bitter side at the beginning. Not my favorite.

Schöner Agricole mit den typischen pflanzlichen, würzigen Noten. Etwas Holz und Leder. Alkohol ist gut eingebunden. Langer Abgang. Das Schwesterfass von Kirsch gefällt mir trotz geringerer Alkoholstärke noch einen Ticken besser. Gutes PLV
