Amazingly good Dictador with pronounced walnut notes and maple syrup. But it's definitely sweetened. Too bad!

Definitely a good rum, but it's not really grabbing me right now, even though I do like the coffee roasting a lot. Otherwise, there’s nut, (dark) chocolate, caramel, vanilla, and a bit of wood.

What to say to start with, I'm not a fan of Dictador, but he surprised a lot. Beautiful full sweet aroma, reminiscent of a nutty, all nuts, chocolate. As for the taste, the beginning is strong, bitter, warm, more spicy, chocolate, nuts, cocoa, at the end it reminds me of hanging in rum like a mon cherry. The strength of the alcohol is not noticeable in the rum, but it has given it a nice interesting body. Finish medium long.

Wood leather. If it is old demerara, it is unique one! Unfortunately the taste is divided from the alcohol, it means - it is spiced. Nicely spiced. I have never tasted so strong and real demerara taste

So let's take a look at this CZSK effort. The nose is completely dominated by nuts, hints of leather and caramel. On the palate, a very sweet profile is expected, which opens up a palette of nutty flavors. Pleasantly oily with a sharp medium-long finish.

Smells like slightly bitter chocolate, beautiful, later like cherries in chocolate. Full, round, chocolatey taste, very pleasant. No way it has 51 (percent).

Read full review ›Of course the rating will be slightly biased, after all it’s kind of our baby. But honestly I have to say this rum really turned out well and we chose well. Before the bottles went on sale, each of us got one bottle to explore, retaste and write something about it.
