The heavy sweetness of the Belize profile is quite present, flanked by the honey aroma and the citrus aromas from Fiji. Little of the Montebello stands out for me, but a recognizable alcohol sharpness remains present in the finish. Overall, the blend is an interesting addition to the aroma spectrum of the Spanish style without opening up a completely new dimension. Another pleasing release in the OVNI series.

Beautiful citrus notes as well as subtle wood and spice. Round and balanced. I like it a lot! This rum has more revolutions than OVNI 7, which I would have preferred. However, a slight alcohol sharpness remains, which is not enough for a better rating.

Au nez le Belize et l orange confite du montebello, le Fidji a l air absent. On sent qu on va entrer dans quelque chose de lourd avec une belle sucrosité. La bouche confirme le nez, un côté mielleux et huileux vient s y rajouter. La finale est longue, avec une petite salinité très agréable qui donne envie de s y replonger de suite. Vraiment un très bel embouteillage de nos loups druides ! Tout y est et ce, avec un bel équilibre et un alcool très bien intégré.
