"A perfect TDL–Belize marriage" is how one taster put it, and the room agrees. The Trinidad column rum leads with menthol, mint and a surprising peach note; the Belize answers with coconut, caramel and sweet tropical fruit. On the palate it's mango, lime peel and pepper over oak, with a touch of coffee and dark chocolate deep down. At 61.4% the alcohol is mostly well integrated — only the finish stays a little hot.

Wow, what a great blend, couldn't really assign it to any country. So the alcohol is definitely super integrated, the over 60% are not noticeable, instead a very slight sweetness thanks to vanilla and caramel, as well as tropical fruits. Very, very good rum.

On the nose: TDL notes from woody notes, roasted notes, menthol notes and little bit of herbal notes. Belize notes from caramel notes and coconut notes and some nice fruity notes. Taste: I get mangoes, lime notes, menthol notes at first, then some woody notes, roasted notes, light coffee and some chocolate notes. Good intensity and the abv is integrated very well. Finish: Mango,light menthol notes, caramel notes. Dark chocolate notes. Light pepper notes. Very good blend and very good value for the price. At first the palate was leaning towards belize, but as the rum opened up more TDL rum notes appeared on the palate. I really enjoyed this rum.

Very good blend of 2 distilleries that I like. The different dosages offer a very nice balance, and beautiful back and forth between these 2 rums. The alcohol is well integrated. What’s nice with this kind of blend is that you get to enjoy both juices.

A really interesting composition that harmonizes perfectly. Even though I don't yet recognize the TDL on the nose, the menthol/peach bomb combined with caramel, wood, tropical fruits, and pepper hits you from the palate!

Very exciting combination, the TDL comes through with the expected menthol notes somewhat more present, while the Belize holds its own with the sweet aroma. It basically goes well together, only the alcohol remains a little too present in the finish. A nice experiment, a success!

Even though T.D.L and Belize are no longer among my favorites, both harmonize quite well here. Since I've had several of these OVNI in the glass, it worked here that I find this tasty.

I always quickly become weak with the younger/modern TDLs. Here too, the menthol and mint have a particularly strong presence in the blend. But Belize blends in nicely. Very nice blend, complex, balanced, great!

Trinidad TDL meets Belize. Mango, some green apple, lime zest and juice, as well as toasted coconut meet various types of pepper (almost reminiscent of fresh fermented kampot pepper) and menthol and mint, even if the latter is not too dominant. A nice interplay of flavors and surprisingly harmonious, with Belize providing a sweet and spicy counterpoint to the fresh, dirty Trinidad. Nevertheless, I prefer to drink the two separately!

A perfect TDL-Belize marriage. The first nose highlights the TDL with a slightly recessed Belize. At the end of the glass, it's the opposite. On the palate, the beautiful fruity TDL first, then comes the coconut and a depth and roundness brought by the Belize. Finish is medium+, with a slight surprising bitterness, because separately, these juices don't have this characteristic. Once again, great work from our friends the wolves.

What more to say! These are my 2 favorite rums!!! On the nose immediately the menthol of the TDL and the fruits! On the palate TDL first and immediately the Belize, I find the coconut which I think softens and gives a crazy blend!!! I love it.
