Now I really like Barbadian rum so maybe I score this one a bit too high, but it is really good in my world. The nose is fruity with honey and vanilla and the longer it rests the stronger the nose becomes. The palate is a little sweet with chocolate and vanilla. There is a a bit of orange, tobacco in there. Way back i can find wood, grass and leather. The finish is nice and long with smoky oak and fruits.

A bit too sweet and not 100% rounded but not wrong

Wow, it comes fruity and floral on the nose. I immediately get banana, coconut, apricot, and sweet-heavy dried plum. There is also something sweet-sour like cassis. The sweetness of honey is present. But also dry vanilla and a slight roastiness. Yes, you notice the 62%... it's strong. Metallic at first, then turning sweet and fruity, sour cherry. Some woody bitterness and spice of tobacco, vanilla, and green herbs. Leather on the finish. Not the worst Barbados.
